Kindergarten and Preschool Registration
Silex R-1 2018- 2019 Kindergarten and Pre-School Registration
Kindergarten and Pre-school registration will be held on Wednesday, February 28 from 12 – 4 pm and on Thursday, March 1 from 12 – 7 pm in the Silex Elementary Office. The child must turn five years old by July 31, 2018 to be eligible to attend kindergarten.
The following items will be required for registration-
-Birth certificate
-Immunization record
-Social security card or Student identification
-Current proof of residency (lease, rental or purchase agreement, utility bill, or property tax form)
-Court documents, if applicable (proof of guardianship, divorce decree, DFS placement papers, foster care, etc…)
If you need a copy of your child’s birth certificate, go to the Lincoln County Health Department. Children will not be able to attend school until all of the above information has been turned in to the office.
