The MSHSAA summertime dead period for Silex R-1 Schools will be Saturday, July 28th - Sunday, August 5th, 2018. During this time period no practices, open gyms, weights, or camps will take place. High School fall practice will begin on August 6th, 2018. Middle School fall practice will start on August 13th. Fall sports include softball, baseball, cross country and boy's soccer.
