We are excited for the Lady Owls and their 3Peat District Championship! Since they are playing Wednesday evening, & school will dismiss at 2:00, we are postponing the Apply Missouri event and college shirt day.
Seniors are welcome to stop by Mrs. Grote’s room at any time for help with applications. Teachers, if you have a student in need of assistance, please send them my way. We will let you know the reschedule date this week. Good Luck Lady Owls!
The Lady Owls Sectional softball game at Salisbury on Wednesday will be video streamed through KMZU. The game can be viewed for $10.60 (required by MSHSAA). We will also provide a free audio only version of the stream. Both can be found at: https://www.midvid.com/salisbury-high-school/ or on the MidVid Roku and Firestick Apps!
The Silex Lady Owls softball team will play in Salisbury for the State Sectional game on Wednesday, October 19th at 5 p.m. Ticket & location information is on our school website, www.silex.k12.mo.us
Silex R-1 School District will be dismissing at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, October 19th to give enough time for faculty/staff and students to travel to the game.
There will be a pep bus for students for grades 6-12 who want to attend the game. The bus is free of charge but students need sign up in the office by end of the day on Tuesday if they want to ride the bus.
The student will need bring in $8 on or before Wednesday by 10 a.m. We need to have 15 students signed up for the bus. If the bus is a go we will purchase the online ticket for your student with the $8 collected. If the bus does not go we will return the money to your student. Good luck Lady Owls! 🥎💚

They are rescheduled for Thursday, October 13th, Van-Far vs. Clopton at 5:00 p.m.; Silex vs. Community at 7:00 p.m. The Championship game will now be played on Friday, October 14th at 6:00 p.m.
