Bulletin September 22,2016 Congratulations to the student that made All District Choir: Heather Colbert, Colton Riley, Justin Thomas and Sarah Groshong. Attention Boys interested in playing American Legion Baseball. Try-outs for next year teams will be held at the American Legion Field in Elsberry on Sunday , September 25th. The A division will work out at 3:00 pm . The AA division will work out at 5:00 pm. Students who are 16 or older and looking for a part-time job, the Silex Community Care Center is looking for part-time help. Please see Miss Kuntz for an application. Applications for summer camp counselor positions are due to Officer Binder today. St. Charles Community College is hosting a College Fair today from 6-7:30 pm. This is a great opportunity to meet and visit with representatives from several colleges as well as career and technical schools. If you have questions you can see Miss Kuntz. FBLA: All FBLA officers and members will meet in Mrs. Franz’s room before school on Friday, September 23rd at 7:15 a.m. There will be a high school SAFE meeting before school this Friday at 7:30 in the art room. Any student in grades 9-12 who's interested can stop by for more information, a registration form, and a donut! Any Middle School student who is interested in joining SAFE can attend the membership meeting this Friday during Advisement in the cafeteria. There will be a DARE dance on September 23rd at the Lincoln County Fairgrounds for 5th, 6th, and 7th grade students. Let the Games Begin! Student Council is hosting a Loose Change War between classes. Next week bring in your loose change for your class. The winning class gets a pizza party. There will be a table outside Mrs. Kerns’ room that has a bottle with your class color for you to put in your loose change.

Your child does not need to sign up in advance to eat school breakfast or lunch, but you do need to complete an application in order to qualify for free or reduced price meals. Bulletin September 16, 2016 Baseball players need to sign up to work the concession stand Monday, September 19th, the sign-up sheet is located on Coach Hufty’s door. Seniors that have not turned in their Senior Interview Questionnaire, you should have an electronic copy in your email. If you need a paper copy please see Ms. Kuntz ASAP. Juniors and Seniors wanting to take the ACT on October 22nd, the registration deadline is today to not pay the late fee. Also, if you are Senior and only taken the Junior ACT here at school in April you will need to get your ACT ID from Miss Kuntz in order to do the online registration. Students please turn in A+ agreement paperwork ASAP.
