Your child does not need to sign up in advance to eat school breakfast or lunch, but you do need to complete an application in order to qualify for free or reduced price meals. Call 573/384-5227 to receive an application or visit the district website www.silex.k12.mo.us under documents to download an application and return it to your child’s school.

Attention Boys interested in playing American Legion Baseball. Try-outs for next year teams will be held at the American Legion Field in Elsberry on Sunday , September 25th. The A division will work out at 3:00 pm . The AA division will work out at 5:00 pm.
Students who are 16 or older and looking for a part-time job, the Silex Community Care Center is looking for part-time help. Please see Miss Kuntz for an application.
Students need to turn in their CYV Paperwork and August Log Sheet, please do so.
St. Charles Community College is hosting a College Fair on Thursday, September 22nd from 6-7:30 pm. This is a great opportunity to meet and visit with representatives from several colleges as well as career and technical schools. If you have questions you can see Miss Kuntz.

Seniors that have not turned in their Senior Interview Questionnaire, you should have an electronic copy in your email. If you need a paper copy please see Ms. Kuntz ASAP.
Juniors and Seniors wanting to take the ACT on October 22nd, the registration deadline is today to not pay the late fee. Also, if you are Senior and only taken the Junior ACT here at school in April you will need to get your ACT ID from Miss Kuntz in order to do the online registration.
Students please turn in A+ agreement paperwork ASAP.
