PTO is providing lunch for the teachers today in Mrs Kerns’ room.
There is a time change for the game on Wednesday. Soccer team will play at Warrenton at 5pm. The bus will pick up the Silex girls at Auburn junction at 3:15 pm.
NHS is sponsoring a blood drive this Wednesday from 3-7 in the cafeteria. If you are 16 and would like to donate you need to have parents consent. See Mrs. Kerns for the form.
Hunter’s Education Course will be given at the school on June 6th through June 8th from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. You must be 11 years old or older. You may pick up an enrollment form in the high school office. Forms must be returned to the elementary office by may 19th.
All books will need to be turned in by May 12th.
If interested in running for a class officer or executive student council you need to pick up an application from Mrs. Kerns.
Seniors, please remember to complete the ½ sheet scholarship award form out and return it to Mrs. Kerns or Guidance. These are used to create the Senior Awards Program, and without this information , you may not be recognized at the program for your hard work and scholarship achievement.
Any students wishing to participate in the end of the year talent show, must audition for Mrs. Burkemper by Friday May 12th. All entries must be school appropriate.
Congratulations to Allison Schneider! Allison won 1st Place in the Spring Break Photo Contest, and she will be getting her 2016-2017 yearbook free! In addition, she won a yearbook t-shirt. The 2nd- and 3rd-Place winners are LeighAnna Colbert and Selena Dyess, respectively. Both of these ladies won free yearbook t-shirts and $10 Gift Cards! Thanks for participating!
