Silex High School's National Honor Society is committed to academic success for all Silex students. As testing season approaches, please make sure your students are getting proper nutrition. If NHS can help with that please consider signing up for Owls Pals. Download and print the flyer below to sign up to receive an Owls Pals bag. You can send the flyer to school with your student or mail it to Silex High School attn: Laura McDonald, 64 Hwy UU, Silex, MO 63377.
During testing season, Owls Pals will be sent home to all registered students the Friday before a week of testing, whether your student(s) is testing or not. This means, Owls Pals bags will go home every Friday between April 5 and May 3rd.

The golf team won tonight against Clopton, Bowling Green and Winfield. Nathan Lenk was the low score for Silex with a 50. Way to Go Owls!!!

Just a couple reminders. School is in session all day Friday. Friday is NOT an early release. We will be on Spring Break March 25 - March 29. School resumes April 1.

Please congratulate Sophomore, Krista Baker! Krista has been accepted into the ATSU - Truman Healthcare Academy to be held June 16th through 22nd this summer. This program allows participants to explore all sorts of healthcare fields, including: osteopathic medicine, nursing, and allied health careers such as exercise science, audiology/speech pathology, athletic training, physical and occupational therapy, and nutrition.
