Don't forget that the Fall Book Fair Spare Change Drive is taking place this week! The class that brings in the most money will win an ice cream party with Mrs. Norton during library time. All money raised will help to buy books for our classrooms! The Fall Book Fair will be held next week (Sept. 16th-20th).


Lady Owls Softball Fans: We have been notified there will not be a concession stand at the game tonight at Winfield. Please plan accordingly.

Dr. Taylor Premer is a Chiropractic Physician at Winchester Spine and Sport in Troy, MO. He will be at Silex High School the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month providing assessments and treatments of our student athletes. Taylor grew up in a small town in Nebraska before attending the University of Nebraska studying Nutrition Science. He then attended Cleveland University - Kansas City where he received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree. While in chiropractic school, he attended over 800 hours of continuing education in the areas of Musculoskeletal diagnosis and treatment. He enjoys working with athletes and helping his patients find answers for their pain and discomfort, whether that be with him or another health care provider. In his free time, his Fiancé Taylor and he enjoy exploring local coffee shops and traveling.
Permission slips are being sent home with athletes. If you would like Dr. Premer to work with your child, please complete the form and return it to the office.

Softball and Baseball return on Tuesday, September 3 at Sturgeon. Lady Owls lead off at 4:30, followed by Lady Owls JV, and we end the night with Silex Owls Baseball.
