Officer Hollingsworth and a few of his friends surprised the 2nd and 3rd graders at recess today. Ripley was a big hit with the students.

As students are prohibited from entering the building until 7:40 this year, and with more parents choosing to provide transportation for their children, an unexpected traffic issue on Highway UU has developed during morning drop-off.
To remedy this issue, beginning tomorrow, Monday, September 21, we will reroute morning dropoff for all students to the elementary parking lot. Please enter the high school parking lot, make an immediate left turn onto the road that runs parallel to Hwy UU (where the old bus barn used to sit), and make a right into the elementary parking lot.
This new drop off procedure will be for all grade levels, elementary, middle, and high school. Additionally, the buses will now drop off at the high school entrance giving more room for dropoff on the elementary side. Students will be directed to their classrooms and cafeteria from those designated areas.
At this time, pickup after school will remain the same with pickup for car riders occurring in the high school parking lot and buses dismissing from the elementary lot.
We appreciate your flexibility as we continue to look for the safest and most efficient way of dropping off and picking up our students.
