Valentine Gram sales have been extended to Monday, February 8, 2021.
With the weather predictions for tomorrow, Saturday, February 6, 2021, we will be moving up our game times at Marion County. Game times will be 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Bus will leave at 8:45 a.m. They are asking that no more than 4 fans per athlete attend the game. Masks are not required, but encouraged. Silex fans need to sit behind our benches. Thank you for your cooperation.

Varsity girls game, 5:30 p.m. Homecoming Coronation will be held during half-time of the Varsity girls game. The gym will be cleared after the Varsity girls game. You must have a ticket to enter. The Varsity boys game will start at approx. 7:15 p.m. Please wear a mask & social distance. We appreciate your cooperation.

The games on Friday, February 12, 2021 at Van-Far will now start at 5:30 p.m. JV girls will play 2 quarters, followed by the Varsity girls and Varsity boys games.

4th Grade Students, Ellie & Hank will be greeting & assisting students in the mornings before school for the next couple of weeks. Ellie & Hank were chosen by their classmates as "Character Leaders". Mrs. Gina Harris, Silex Elementary Principal, started the "Morning Greeters" program in January. Students who were chosen as "Character Leaders" in their classrooms will rotate every few weeks to assist with morning greetings.

Silex Student Council has set up a photo booth in the cafeteria this week to celebrate Homecoming. The “Route 66” backdrop is perfect for our “Road Trip” theme.
