Congratulations to our January Students of the Month! 6th Grade - Devon Carnahan; 7th Grade - Kayla Dielschneider; 8th Grade - Haley Turkington; 9th Grade - Sophie Burkemper; 10th Grade - Maddy Hall; 11th Grade - Daniel Havlik; 12th Grade - Matthew Wilson. 4th Grade Students, Ellie & Hank will be greeting & assisting students in the mornings before school for the next couple of weeks. Ellie & Hank were chosen by their classmates as "Character Leaders". Mrs. Gina Harris, Silex Elementary Principal, started the "Morning Greeters" program in January. Students who were chosen as "Character Leaders" in their classrooms will rotate every few weeks to assist with morning greetings.

Silex Student Council has set up a photo booth in the cafeteria this week to celebrate Homecoming. The “Route 66” backdrop is perfect for our “Road Trip” theme.
